What should be done before and during install and using Ford VCM II?

Some obd2 tools required a lot on its installation, during installation and as well as when using it. And Ford VCM II is one of them. Following I want to share with you what should be done before installation and what should be noticed during installation and using it.

First, before you start your installation of  VCM 2, you should prepare a specific computer with operating system: WINDOWS XP SP3, and disable antivirus software and firewall of windows. If you want to install Ford-IDS and JLR software in one computer, remember to install them in separate disks, JLR to C:\default path first and then install IDS to any other disk. No connection when you install software. If you have former version of Ford VCM II, youd better uninstall it. In addition, the computer should be only for Ford VCM II rather any other usage.

Second, there are two points you should notice during installation. One is not connecting to internet when you are installing; the other one is if it pops up to install the components, please click yes.
