I just got a MPPS V16 ECU Chip Tuning.
My on the installation is quite simple. I first should copy all thing from CD
to HDD to start install MPPS. Then I connect MPPS to OBD2 interface and install
driver. Following is to start loader to go on running. Finally, choose local
disk C:/mpps/mpps/exe fodler. No that difficult, right?
Reality
is always cruel. When I ran the programmer, an error intercepted me from moving
forward. The windows pops out a prompt reading “Problem!!!” I had no idea what
was going on.
They replied me that it was because my system was not
compatible with the MPPS (I installed it on win 7) However, the MPPS V16 must
work on Windows XP sp2 system. When the loader loads the program, it must store
in physical computer with XP and can not store in virtual machine. I was told
to check if I installed MPPS or loaded program under virtual environment. Given all that, I had to
change another physical computer with window XP system.
