2) I’m involved in a project that consists in a clustar swap. We have an VW EOS 2008 with a micronas dash and we want to swap the clustert with a VW EOS 2010 NEC dash (I’m not sure if NEC24C64 or NEC24C32).

Although the wiring is different we were able to connect the new cluster, and it seems to work OK

Problems start with the immo ….. We think that if we had the PINCODE/SKC from both clusters we would be able to match the new cluster with the ECU (and we would be able to match the keys). So I’d like to know if the software VAG KM+IMMO is able to get the PIN CODE of this cluster.

I know your ad says it car read/write the EEPROM, it can correct the mileage, but is it able to help me in any way???

Answer: Please note that VVDI can read PIN CODE. If your car’s dash type is NEC24C32, you can directly use VAG KM+IMMO tool; if it is NEX24C64, you have to buy one “NEC24C64 Update Module for VAG KM + IMMO TOOL” to use withVAG KM + IMMO TOOL.

How to do VVDI udpate error

One customer wants to update the diagkey scanner VVDI

to V2.6.3, his original version was V2.6.2, he updated by himself, once the new version released, but met with the error “This type will be supported in future”. Warning: Please DON’T update again if device can run normally on matching software version.

If other customer have the same problem, you can follow the solution of the update:
1. Send us your serial number
2. Our egineer will update the new version by the serial number, and we will send the file back to you
3. Update VVDI by the file.

Last week, I find a new software release from chinaautodiag, which is VVDI

Diagnostic tool updates to newest version v2.0! Actually, I am likely to fix my eyes on my obd2 tool update information, so as I knew it, I had diagnostics interface set up v2.0.zip downloaded.

When I update it, I had the same problem of other users, and that is I cannot use my VAG commander 8.6 and teg key tool software at the same time. I do not what is the problem of my update. What I had done wrong while update?

I cannot find the reason myself, so I had a consult to xcardiag customer service girl Vicky. She told me that, if I had download version v2.0 on my computer, I should uninstall my old software, for they cannot install in the same computer, while it will get into troubles. And then she told me to note that if had it updated to newest version v2.0, I cannot to use vag commander8.6 software and Tag key tool software. She told me to have a consideration on this.

At the same time, Vicky also provides me with the new added functions of the new software for consideration. Here I am sharing one point with you.

When update to VVDI V2.0, although it cannot read EEPROM from EDC15 and EEPROM EDC16 and not support edc15 eeprom, it can visit pin and CS and not affect the normal performance of vvdi.

What is more, there is a special function on engine, and that is read code function by selecting the OBD to read.

For this new version obd2 tool has the new added functions, I decide to update VVDI to new version. Before your update, you should take the use of commander8.6 and tag key tool software into consideration.
